On 22 April, 2025, two students were awarded the Harbert Book Prize for excellent achievements in their studies.

For the calendar year 2024, Katharina Kellner, B. Sc., and Mohammadreza Heidarianbaei, M. Sc., were honored for their outstanding performance in their studies. The two graduates of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” received the book prize with a certificate, free membership of the DVW for one year and other gifts from the DVW.

The DVW Lower Saxony/Bremen awarded the prize as part of the Geodetic Colloquium. The chairman Dipl.-Ing. Ihno Kühl and the young talent officer Dipl.-Ing. Tanja Grönefeld emphasized how proud they were of the graduates and wished them both every success in their future careers.

As the Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management, the DVW Lower Saxony/Bremen represents the interests of its members, imparts practical experience and provides information on new technical developments, e.g. as part of the Geodetic Colloquium at Leibniz Universität Hannover.
