From the main railway station, walk (5 minutes) or take the tram (lines 1, 2, 3, 7 or 9 one stop) to Kröpcke. Continue with line 4 (direction Garbsen) or 5 (direction Stöcken) to the stop "Schneiderberg/Wilhelm-Busch-Museum". The Geodetic Institute is located directly on the corner of Nienburger Straße and Schneiderberg and can be reached via the corner entrance.

Parking spaces are available both on Nienburger Straße and on Schneiderberg. Alternatively, the car park in the courtyard behind the institute (access via Schneiderberg) or the underground car park approx. 50 m north of the institute building can be used.
