A spatial-temporal quality model of Persistent Scatterer Interferometry data for deformation monitoring

Today, rapid growth in infrastructure development and urbanization process increases the attention to perform deformation monitoring at a relatively large-scale. Traditional land surveying techniques such as GPS, total station surveys, and levelling are very time consuming and also expensive to perform deformation monitoring in such large-scales and for a long time. In this study, Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI) has been carried out using open source SAR data from Sentinel-1. Therefore, it allows to perform spatio-temporal area-based deformation monitoring. Besides, it enables to perform spatio-temporal point-wise deformation monitoring for time series of specified points.
