1st place in the INTERGEO Next Generation Award ‘Science and Geoinnovation’ for Ashwin Kumar Dhanasekaran

At this year's INTERGEO in Frankfurt (https://dvw.de/intergeo/de), Mr Ashwin Kumar Dhanasekaran won first place in the INTERGEO Next Generation Award ‘Science and Geoinnovation’ for his outstanding master's thesis entitled ‘Self-supervised Deep Learning for Change Point Detection in InSAR Time Series’. The thesis was completed at the Geodetic Institute (GIH) of Leibniz University Hannover under the supervision of Kourosh Shahryarinia, M.Sc., Dr.-Ing. Mohammad Omidalizarandi and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ingo Neumann. This award recognises his excellent research work and highlights the potential of using advanced deep learning methods for anomaly detection in InSAR time series.
